Courage

My steps were always in the light 

'til the day arrived when they began 

to slowly fade away and out of my complete sight,

Now I'm stranded in this twisted maze 

with no map to guide me through the haze 

But know that I don't have any regrets at all!  

Because my screaming voice ... 

Will be heard above the noise ... 

I'm still on a journey to connect the fated sounds of all the bells 

that will signal the start of this tale - 

The future world that we had envisioned leads me to a place, 

where the sky above is not held down by time's embrace,

No matter how many dreams 

try to overwrite it,

I know there'll always be a light ... 

Ah, on giving for my way! 

Leaving behind nothing at all, but the ever-distant hope I know,

there is no healing for the scars that linger here still,

But if there's something I can have, 

just one thing that I take into my grasp,  

then I won't wish for more, it'd be enough for me.

If that new sky that I reach,

Is trapped in a sadness so deep,

Then let me hear the fated sounds of all the bells 

that will signal this final end - 

Gently, slowly the wind wraps - tight just like a warm blanket,

And I know that this - journey will someday come to an end!

The future world that you had envisioned that day way back then,

it still exists somewhere out there, I'm simply sure of it!  

In the light, that still shines bright, 

and accepted me for who I really am inside, 

aah on giving for my way  

Let's just keep on going as far as both of us can run and hold on,

Even if our hands may come undone,

I'm always believing in you and I'll always be waiting,

So please just stay a little longer now for me.
