We both knew, magic fades 

and feelings die,

You hear it all the time  

Moonlight blooms, 

Sunlight dries, and withers, 

bowing it's head to the night  

As you hold,

Your hand in mine, 

Shielding me, sharing your umbrella to keep me dry,
